Storm of the Century
As usual my headline exaggerates a bit. But MAN did we have a storm last night. Summer time in north Texas means thunderstorms. Very common. But the one last night, was stronger than usual. No stuctural damage to the house, but our big tree in the front yard lost one of his main branches. Will have to call a "tree guy" out to fix it correctly. I need another expense like a hole in the head. The residential streets on the way to work were littered with branches and runaway trash cans. As of this morning, the news was reporting that up to 500,000 people were still without power.
