All Due Respect...

The season finale of The Sopranos was tonight. For twelve weeks there has been a showdown brewing between the New York boss of bosses Johnny Sack and Tony. It was going to be a bloodbath, Armageddon, no one gets out alive. It never materialized. The Johnny Sack situation was solved by the FBI as one of his own ratted him out. It seemed a bit to tidy for me, the problems Tony wrapped up all nice and neat with a simple arrest. That being said, this was by far the finest season of the Soprano's yet. Hopefully they can top it in the final season next year.

Im so happy to find a post about the Sopranos. Great show Sunday! Silvio's hair cracks me up. Im sad that Tony Blundetto got whacked. I love Steve Bushemi, but I guess he was only on for one season. My favorite part was Carmela asking Chris for the phone number for Adrianna (Is there a number I can reach her at... (Chris) Not that I know of) and at the very end when Tony comes home and Carmela says "What happened to you? Your shoes are all wet".
Do you watch Deadwood too? Ive gotten hooked. HBO sucks though they keep us waiting over a year after a season finale. (sigh)

Man I SOOOO wanted them to wack Johnny Sack, but that would have gotten the whole family killed. And yes, Im a huge fan of Deadwood, although I am 2 episodes behind (I LOVE TIVO). But my fav HBO show starts next week, Six Feet Under, it doesn't get any more twisted than that show. Did you see the preview for Entourage a new comedy? I'll have to check that out...

"..for it takes irony to appreciate the joke which is on oneself." Jessamyn West I have raised a retard. I swear to God, the things he says and thought processes that flow through his brain never cease to amaze me. Early on in this Blog, I promoted the idea of trying to give your kids more than you had. Don't force them to work during their early high school years and instead let them enjoy their summers unencumbered. As that dickhead Dr. Phil says, " how'd that work out for ya?" I have ended up with an unappreciative individual that is not even remotely ready for the real world. What a slap in the face that will be, standing on his own two feet. I know, I know, I reap what I sow, but that what blog is for isn't it, anonymous venting?? His outrageously expensive school, has a relatively relaxed cel phone policy. You can have you phone, and actually use it in between classes. Just don't use it during class. Kinna obvious don't you think? He come...

Gettin' The Hell Outta Dodge Middle school graduation was tonight. @ was really pumped. Not at graduating 8th grade, but finally leaving SPX. Grades 1-6 at the Catholic school were fine. The last 2 years, though were a royal pain in the ass. The teachers have been there too long are underpaid and had lost interest in guiding these kids. I think I was as happy as he was after the ceremony. I won't miss dealing with those people at all. Right before we left, I told him it was time for us to give him his present. We had gotten him a cel phone but I want to string him along a bit. On Tuesday when we switched plans both * and myself got new phones also. That night, we were showing off the features of the new phones to him. He played along, acting like he was happy for us, all the while wanting his own I'm sure. I purchase a belt clip for my phone and his. I put the clip in a bag and wrapped it for him. When he opened it, there was a look of "what the hell...
"You Have 6,184 Unread Messages" (local spam magnet)   Got a call yesterday from an employee that stated he never checks his email and wanted me to look at something for him.  I wander back to his workstation and he points to his inbox in Outlook.  6,184.  That’s how many unread email messages he had.  I asked him if he uses his email address to sign up for things and he swears he doesn’t.  Yeah, right.  After deleting all his messages I notice that during the deletion time, he had already received five new junk emails.  I had investigated some enterprise spam programs for Exchange, but never followed through.  A former co- worker pointed me to ORF ( Open Filter Relay from vamsoft ).  They have a 30 day trial version with full functionality.  So I installed and configured it. It took less than 10 minutes, and I was dropping junk email off the server like a bad habit.  The program has a real time statistics counter.  F...
